The Body-Solid Tools OTB100 Open Trap Bar is a highly versatile Olympic barbell typically used for performing powerlifts (deadlifts). The new open design provides much greater freedom of movement, allowing you to add a wide range of additional movements/exercises to your program, such as deadlifts, shrugs, lunges, single-leg squats, and farmer’s carries.
The double, high and low handles of this bar are ergonomically designed with medium knurling, providing stability, balance, and safety during intense lifts. A built-in bar jack lifts the weight sleeves off the ground, making changing weight plates effortless.
The weight sleeves, with a length of 41.3 cm, are designed for Olympic weight plates with a 50 mm diameter, and the bar has a robust weight capacity of 450 kg.
